Where we also helped
Since 2012, we have helped in various countries around the world in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Ethiopia
From 2013 to 2015, we provided livelihoods in the Chuko region. From 2014 to 2016, we focused on supporting women, children and youth in Bahir Dar and during 2016 and 2017 on building a mill in Makala kebele
Georgia
In Georgia, from 2013 to 2015, we supported the integration of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Indonesia
On Friday 28 September 2018, a devastating 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. In collaboration with partner organisations, our fundraising supported the provision of mainly drinking water and the rapid removal of the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
Iraq
In 2015 and 2016, we supported IDPs in Iraq in the north of the country and also provided psychosocial support to women in particular.
Kenya
Thanks to support from the MEDEVAC programme, in 2022 we were able to provide improved quality of medical care and rehabilitation for people with disabilities at a hospital in Dadaab, located near a refugee camp.
Mauritania
For three years from 2019 to 2021, we had been involved in providing quality medical care at the Bassikounou Health Centre.
Moldova
Between 2016 and 2016, we built good relationships and solidarity between youth and the elderly, developed home care services, improved agricultural production and market access for farmers in northern Moldova, supported vulnerable children and youth from disadvantaged families, and built a shop for farmers in partnership with KOMA Modular.
Syria
In 2016, we supported the health and quality of life of displaced and vulnerable Syrians in the governorates of Homs and Tartus. We provided humanitarian aid following the 2022 earthquake in the north of the country.
Vietnam
From 2020 to 2024, in Vietnam, we first strengthened and protected children’s rights in the process of police investigations, and then focused on promoting human rights in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Security there and strengthening protection for victims of human trafficking.
Zambia
From 2015 to 2017, in Zambia, we focused on supporting women’s leadership groups, their economic emancipation and long-term family income security.
